We have joined together to create “Wool and Folk”, a traveling event for wool and music lovers. Our mission is to create community events that foster connection amongst all people in the fiber chain; promote handmade goods, support local musicians, local wool, local makers, local food; and celebrate the diverse makeup of our fiber community.
Wool & Folk will have a small selection of amazing vendors, food trucks, a full bar, talks and presentations, and live music for the entire event (music co-hosted by Jalopy Theatre!) MUSIC is key to the event with a lineup of five bands playing western swing, folk and bluegrass...for a feel good event that fosters connection. Yes, there will be dancing! More than anything else, we are thrilled to host a party to celebrate coming back together again in person and to share our joy in all things Wool and Folk! We are so excited to host our inaugural Wool and Folk Festival!
In order to keep everyone as safe as possible, at this time, we require proof of vaccination for attendance. (Either your vaccine card or your Excelsior pass if you are from NY). We also ask that when you are not eating or drinking you wear a mask. Hutton Brick Yards is an outdoor venue and there will be plenty of room for social distancing as well.
It is important to us to follow local and national recommendations for health and safety.
As guidelines are rapidly changing, we will continue to update our protocols as we get closer to the event.
Thank you for helping us keep our event safe!
